💕 Memory Lane: A Dating Adventure
Generative UI/UX Hackathon
🎯 Innovation: 2-player dating app with memory erasure and AI-generated visuals
📅 Date: Brooklyn, NY
📍 Location: Fractal Tech, Brooklyn
👥 Participants: 135 attendees
🏆 Prize: Apple Watch for 1st place
🎮 Genre: Choose your own adventure dating game
🚀 The Challenge
The Generative UI/UX Hackathon challenged developers to create generative user interfaces and experiences that adapt uniquely to individual users. Instead of just user-specific content, the goal was to build applications that adapt their structure and create user-specific frameworks that evolve dynamically.
💡 Our Solution: Memory Lane Dating Adventure
Built a 2-player choose-your-own-adventure dating app where two users wake up with their memory erased and must rediscover their relationship by progressing through an interactive story. The app generates unique visuals based on their responses, creating a personalized narrative experience for each couple.
Key Features
- 🧠 Memory Erasure Mechanic: Players start with no knowledge of their relationship
- 👫 2-Player Synchronous Gameplay: Both users progress through story together
- 🎨 AI-Generated Visuals: Images created dynamically based on user choices
- 📖 Branching Narrative: Choose-your-own-adventure style storytelling
- 💕 Relationship Discovery: Couples rediscover their connection through gameplay
- 🎭 Adaptive Storytelling: Story evolves based on combined player responses
